Contacting Them

There are several ways to contact or lobby your elected representatives.

The easiest being the use of the internet and the various websites that allow you to search for them by name or by inputting your postcode or constituency.

Write a letter – Send an email – Give them a call – Visit their surgery (call their office for times).

However remember whatever the issue is, its not about having a good old whinge on whatever takes your fancy.

Of course we would like you to raise the issues that we have raised our campaign and consultations are over at Right To Ride – Top Issues – so that your elected representative is informed.

You may want to choose one issue, you may have picked up a comment that they have made about motorcycling in the press, it may have been a positive comment, so write to them to let them know you saw their comment and thank them.

It may have been negative or something you don’t agree with.

Write to them so that they are informed about the issue and they  understand your position. Ultimately you may convince them that your position is the one that is correct.

A top tip is to always close your communication with the line “I look forward to your reply”.
